This study examines the factors that effect on job satisfaction among employee’s in construction industry in Saudi Arabia. The aims of this study also to identify the relationship between factors of job satisfaction and job/employees performance in construction project. The factors of job satisfaction that examine in this study were salary and compensation, working conditions and workplaces safety, equipment or materials are used, safety condition of the work and attitude toward each other in construction industry, administration and supervision, the expertise of supervisors, the support from supervisors and supervisors‟ communication skills, environment and communication, work and achievement, responsibility, recognition and feedback, the timing of feedback and the chance to be recognised when you done well and lastly the advancement. Employees in construction industry or in any organizations need to be motivated to facilitate their input towards the attainment of their organizational goals. Therefore, to fulfil the gap of previous researchers, the questionnaire of this study asked employees to give their suggestion as well to improve their satisfaction of work. In this research out of 265 surveys were distributed, 117 viable questionnaires were returned. Quantitative method is used in this study and the collected data was analysed by the use of SPSS 20 software with the method of analysed that being used in this research are crosstabs, frequency, percentages, mean and rank. The findings form the study show that Construction Company should pay attention to their employee’s needs and wants to motivate them in order to increase their level of job satisfaction. The concentrates for improvement job satisfaction must focus on the important factors were suggested by responses in this survey

Purpose:Worldwide, many countries including Kenya have initiated procurement reforms culminating into enactment of procurement laws and regulations. In Kenya, despite the existence of the procurement law, there is low level of compliance by the county governments to this law. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between compliance of public procurement law and performance of County government of Isiolo in Kenya. Specifically, the study sought to establish the relationship between procurement regulations, procurement procedures, procurement personnel and procurement records and performance of County Government of Isiolo. Keywords: procurement regulations 2020 compliance, procurement procedures compliance, procurement personnel compliance, procurement records compliance and performance of County Government of Isiolo DOI: 10.7176/RHSS/13-15-04 Publication date:September 30th 202

Over the recent years traffic at the Road 2 – Road 5 intersection has been observed to be high at peak hours. This situation sometimes becomes frustrating as a result of long queues. Accidents have even occurred in some instances. The need to proffer solution to this problem, therefore becomes imperative, hence this study. The geometric characteristics and the traffic and the signalized conditions of the intersection were determined using standard procedures  The intersection geometrics show that, there are two lanes on all approaches, with an average width of 3.65 m. The terrain is level and there is no storage bay. Raised islands are provided to separate the traffic streams. There are no lane and pedestrian markings. The saturation flows (s), for the East Bound (EB), West Bound (WB), North Bound (NB) and South Bound (SB) traffic, were, 2306, 1948, 1561 and 1569 veh. / h respectively, while the critical v/c ratio value for the intersection was, 0.54.The uniform delay, d1,for EB and  WB, and  NB and SB, were 10 and 26 sec. / veh.  respectively; while the values for their incremental delays, d2, were, 0.44, 0.56, 0.41 and 0.47sec. / veh. respectively. The average intersection delay is, 13 sec / veh., which put the level of service (LOS), at B. It can therefore be concluded that, there is a slight delay at the intersection, which could probably be attributed to the inadequate geometrics of the intersection. A new geometric configuration was therefore proposed to eliminate this delay. Keywords: Intersection, Geometrics, Saturation Flow, Critical v/c Ratio, Average delay and Level of Service (LOS)

Background: Helicobacter pylori infection is a common disease and leads to many gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases. It is suspected that one of these respiratory diseases is lung cancer. Methods: sixty patients with lung cancer and one hundred twenty control subjects have been included to this study. All enrolled subjects (lung cancer patients and controls) underwent a15 minute, lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies anti-H. Pylori in human serum (CTK Biotech, Inc USA) and a lateral immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of H. Pylori antigen in human fecal specimen (CTK Biotech,Inc USA) , A p value of <0.05 was considered as significant. The statistical data analysis was performed with SPSS 22. . Results: The H.pylori seropositivity was (41 /60) (68.3) %in patients with lung cancer but only (16/ 120) (13.3) %in controls and this difference in H.pylori seropositivity between cancers and controls was statistically significant P<0.016. The odds ratio for the association of H.pylori and lung cancer was 3.6 (95% CI =1.24 – 4.8), The H.pylori stool antigen was (22/60) (36.7) % in patients with lung cancer but only (14/120) (11.7) %there is statistically significant P<0.001. Conclusion increase the prevalence of H.pylori seropositivity was (68.3) %in patients with lung cancer more than  in normal controls (13.3) %
